Description
A simple, no-bake game day snack made with just three main ingredients: chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter, and pretzels. This salty-sweet treat is easy to make, budget-friendly, and perfect for parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups (200g) pretzel sticks or rods
- Salt flakes or sea salt (for finishing)
Instructions
- Line a standard half-sheet baking pan (18×13 inches) with parchment paper.
- Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat in 30-second intervals until mostly melted. Do not overheat.
- Drop spoonfuls of creamy peanut butter into the melted chocolate. Gently fold to create marbled swirls; do not mix completely.
- Break pretzel sticks into 2-3 inch pieces and scatter them generously over the chocolate mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Immediately sprinkle sea salt flakes over the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 20-30 minutes until firm.
- Lift the parchment paper out and break the bark into irregular pieces using a serrated knife.
Notes
Ensure pretzels are fresh and crisp to avoid soggy bark. Do not overheat chocolate to prevent seizing. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free pretzels. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
