  • Author: Thea
  • Total Time: 4 hours 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A foolproof, high-protein breakfast that requires no cooking. These overnight oats are creamy, delicious, and customizable, making them perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (40g) Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Milk of Choice (e.g., almond, oat, or dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon (10g) Chia Seeds
  • 1 scoop (30g) Protein Powder (Vanilla or Chocolate)
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) Peanut Butter
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • A tiny pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt to a mason jar or container.
  2. Shake the jar slightly to distribute the dry ingredients and prevent clumps.
  3. Pour in the milk, then add the peanut butter and honey.
  4. Stir vigorously with a spoon or whisk until everything is well combined and smooth.
  5. Secure the lid and place the jar in the fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Add a splash of milk if the texture is too thick.
  7. Top with optional toppings like banana slices, berries, or extra peanut butter and enjoy.

Notes

Do not use instant oats (they turn mushy) or steel-cut oats (they don’t soften enough). Stir well to avoid protein powder clumps. If using natural peanut butter, stir it well before measuring. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
