Fall Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip

  • Author: Thea
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, no-bake dessert dip combining tangy cream cheese with sweet caramel sauce, topped with crisp apples and toasted pecans. Ready in just 10 minutes of prep time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces (225g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120g) full-fat sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (240ml) caramel sauce
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
  • ½ cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Sea salt flakes, optional

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes until softened.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes). Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  3. Drizzle about half of the caramel sauce into the cream cheese mixture and gently fold it in with a spatula to create ribbons. Do not overmix.
  4. Cover the bowl or transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and the dip to thicken.
  5. While the dip chills, slice the apples and toast the pecans in a dry skillet for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, then chop them.
  6. Remove the dip from the refrigerator. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top in a zigzag pattern.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped toasted pecans and a pinch of sea salt if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with apple slices, graham crackers, pretzels, or other dippers.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Use tart apples like Granny Smith for the best texture and flavor contrast. The dip can be made up to 24 hours in advance, but add fresh apples and nuts just before serving. Do not freeze as the texture may become grainy.
