High-Protein Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Greek Yogurt Ranch

  • Author: Thea
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A quick, high-protein wrap featuring spicy buffalo chicken, fresh veggies, and a creamy, tangy Greek yogurt ranch dressing. Ready in 30 minutes or less.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (or 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking raw chicken)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (1012 inches)
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, diced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic powder, dill weed, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt until smooth. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. If using raw chicken, season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest for 5 minutes, then shred or cube.
  3. In a bowl, toss the cooked chicken with buffalo sauce (and melted butter if using) until evenly coated.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side or in the microwave for 15 seconds wrapped in a damp paper towel.
  5. Assemble the wrap by laying a tortilla flat, spreading a generous layer of ranch down the center, and topping with lettuce, buffalo chicken, cheese, and tomatoes.
  6. Fold the sides in and roll tightly from the bottom up. Slice in half diagonally and serve immediately.

Notes

Pat chicken and tomatoes dry to prevent soggy wraps. For a lighter version, skip the mayo and butter. The ranch tastes better if made ahead. Store assembled wraps in the fridge for up to 2 days, though tortillas may soften.
