Description
A quick, 5-minute high-protein shake that tastes like a dessert but fuels you like a meal. Perfect for busy weeknights, post-workout recovery, or a healthy snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 scoop (30g) Vanilla Protein Powder (whey isolate recommended)
- 1/2 cup (120g) Greek Yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
- 1 cup (240ml) Milk (dairy, almond, or oat)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Ice Cubes
- 1/4 cup (30g) Cookie Crumbs (crushed Oreos or vanilla wafers)
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup (optional, depending on protein powder sweetness)
Instructions
- Measure out all ingredients: protein powder, yogurt, milk, and cookie crumbs.
- Add wet ingredients to the blender first: pour in the milk and Greek yogurt. Add ice cubes if using.
- Add dry ingredients: sprinkle in the vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, sweetener (if using), and most of the cookie crumbs.
- Blend on high for 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Stop to scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed.
- Adjust consistency: add more milk if too thick, or more ice/yogurt if too thin.
- Pour into a tall glass and top with remaining cookie crumbs or chocolate syrup.
- Serve immediately while cold and frothy.
Notes
For a thicker shake without watering it down, freeze milk in ice cube trays beforehand. Do not over-blend as it can melt the ice and make the shake watery. This shake is best consumed fresh; it may separate if stored.
